After 1 month of use,
"After 1 month of use, I've found the experience very good. I have moderate apnea. I found the CPAP machine too much to tolerate, so after 5 months of persisting I was ready to try something else. The Bongos. The bongo device stopped my snoring and I don't wake up suddenly during the night anymore. So far, so good. So easy to use, and very comfortable. You can sleep in any position you like without interference. It took me only about a week to get used to the breathing regulation. A much cheaper option than a CPAP machine, and so much more comfortable. No mask, hose or machine. Easy and quick to wash daily. Based on my 1 month experience, I would recommend giving Bongo a try if you suffer from moderate sleep apnea. My wife would agree too!"
Expensive Way to Deoxygenate Your Brain
"Even though its a rip off, I wouldnt mind if it was effective. The concept seems like something that makes sense and gets you off cpap which sucks people in. I came to the realisation that, this thing is so bulky and takes up way too much volume where oxygen should be coming in. Like the opposite of nasal expansion. I used it with mouth tape quite a bit in the last 12 months and think all that did was suffocate me. The pressure that it generates is questionable, like how effective is that little pressure at stenting open the pharyngeal airway where most people have collapse? Id say inneffective. Atleast with nasal strips volume isnt compromised. And with a chinstrap instead of mouth tape, your body can switch to mouth breathing if it desperately needs it due to not having enough oxygen through the nose. I regret using this thing and would advise others not to."
Not Satisfied
"I was looking for a practical alternative to my CPAP machine when travelling and Resmed does a good online sell in this regard so I bought a BongoRx Starter kit knowing that if it didn't work I could get my money back. The instruction leaflet that came with the starter kit said that you had to be patient as the Bongo 'nasal seals' take some getting used to. They were not wrong. When inserted into the nose it was easy to breathe in through the 'nasal seals' but it was hard to breathe out. Because of this when you fall asleep you find that you either start breathing through your mouth (which defeats the purpose of the 'nasal seals' as a snoring inhibitor) or the nasal seals fall out of your nose due to the back pressure. In accordance with the instruction leaflet I persisted for weeks because I really wanted them to work. Unfortunately when I finally came around to admitting defeat I realised that I had overshot the 30 day money back guarantee by a couple of weeks. I nevertheless applied for my money back hoping that Resmed, being the reputable company that they are, would be sympathetic and understand that I had seriously tried to make the product work and would refund my money anyway. I was wrong. Resmed stood by the 30 day limit to their guarantee and refused to refund my money, or provide a 'store credit'"
Good product but not for me
"It’s a good product and reduced my snoring. I tried it over a few nights but it was too big for my nose and caused pain. I would buy them if they came in a size small or extra smal"
Didn’t do anything, I still snored and it felt like I had a blocked nose
"Sorry it didn’t work for me, gave it a fair go."
Impossible to breath
"I was not able to breath when I was using that unless opening my mouth, breathing with nose was impossible for me with bongo"

Still works for me
"So, I was prescribed CPAP after my last study because I’m right on the borderline of severe. Thing is, the CPAP gives me tinnitus. I went back to bongo Rx and it’s gone after a few nights. I had to go back, no choice. Did anyone else have this problem? Also, buying it in the states is cheaper, but the AU price is still a lot less then my CPAP equipment."
Good little device
"My husband uses this device and it works great. It only took him a few minutes to fall asleep with it the first night. You need to relax. It holds back a little air on exhale to inflate the airway but it’s light years more comfortable than a cpap. I’m stuck on cpap because I’ve been on it so long. Resmed is the best machine."
Overpriced and underperforming
"Dreadful product. It never fitted snugly and kept falling out when I exhaled through my nose. Very overpriced. Must have cost a few cents to produce but somehow the selling price was $279. I brought it back within 30 days and got a refund."
